Since Independence Day is just around the corner, I wanted to do something a little different to celebrate those of you who have achieved independence from “dieting.” I want to recognize all the people who’ve bravely stepped off the “yo-yo” diet train and people who’ve made positive changes that became part of a healthy lifestyle (instead of something they did just to look better in their skinny jeans). I want to hear about those of you who stood up to “dieting” once and for all and said “No More!”
Tell me in a few short paragraphs about your journey, your successes (and failures), what happened to finally motivate you to make a change, what the most important thing you’ve learned is or what you want other people to learn from your experience.
We might even feature your inspirational story on the Sensei Talks blog.
Please submit all stories to blogger@sensei.com.
Getting healthy, losing weight and maintaining those changes can be really difficult, which is why we all need to support each other. I look forward to hearing all about your experiences and sharing them with the rest of our readers!
What does diet independence mean to you?

Sent an email to you guys but diet independence to me means that I have learned to listen to my body & do things that feel right for me... it is, as they say, a life long journey!
