 Most of us know her as the “tough-as-nails” trainer from the Biggest Loser. If you thought Jillian Michaels was hard to handle in the gym, imagine her living with you for a week! Well, that’s exactly what she’s doing in her latest show Losing It With Jillian.
In this new series, Jillian offers a wake-up call for eight different families across America to help them transform their lives. According to the shows website, Jillian will “use her characteristic brand of tough love and move in with one family for a week, giving them the necessary tools to reboot their lives and bring them back to a healthier lifestyle emotionally and physically.” She wants to get to the root of the mental and emotional problems that are affecting their health and happiness; then give them a concrete plan to help get their lives back on a healthy track.
Helping people discover what’s really going on and allowing them to see the relationships between the emotional problems they might be experiencing and their unhealthy lifestyle is so important. Without understanding and resolving these issues, weight loss will be a never ending battle. I really like the concept behind the show and am anxious to see how Jillian handles these challenges.
The season premiere is set to air tonight at 10:00 pm ET on NBC. I’ll be watching, will you?
