Jicama, Mango & Pineapple Salad

From our friends at Meals.com comes this delicious summer recipe that will make you feel like you’re dining on a tropical island!

If you haven’t tried jicama, then you’re in for a treat. It looks like a jumbo brown turnip or radish, but the taste is totally different. It’s crispy like a water chestnut, with sweetness similar to a pear or apple. It also makes a great addition to salads. Look for it in the grocery produce section with other tropical fruits and vegetables.

Jicama, Mango & Pineapple Salad
Estimated Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Serves 4

1 cup matchstick-size jicama strips
1 cup matchstick-size mango strips
1 cup matchstick-size fresh pineapple strips
1 cup shredded cooked chicken, cooled
1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves
1/2 tablespoon MAGGI Granulated Chicken Flavor Bouillon
1 teaspoons chili powder
Lime wedges

COMBINE jicama, mango, pineapple, chicken and cilantro in large bowl; sprinkle with bouillon and chili powder. Toss gently. Serve immediately with lime wedges.

Enjoy!
