America's Healthiest Fast Food Restaurants

Last year Men's Health compiled a list of the 20 Worst Foods in America, so we followed up with 20 Healthier Alternatives to the Worst Food. Now they've put together a list for 2009 to help consumers avoid some of the biggest fat and calorie offenders in "the business".

A few of the so-called 'Worst Foods in American' include: Bob Evans Stacked and Stuffed Caramel Banana Pecan Hotcakes at 1,543 calories and almost a days worth of sodium, P.F. Chang's Tam's Noodles with almost 100 grams of fat and Baskin Robbins Large Chocolate Oreo Shake with an astounding 2,600 calories and 139 grams of fat! Be sure to check out the other Worst Foods in America so you know what to choose next time you eat out.

This week Men's Health also reported on the Healiest Fast Food Restaurants in America which include Chick-fil-A, Subway, Jamba Juice, Au Bon Pain, Boston Market, Cici's Pizza Buffet, McDonald's, Taco Bell and Wendy's. These restaurants were chose because they offer a number of low-calorie, low-fat options at a reasonable price. From Taco Bell's Fresco menu to Subway's slew of lean meat and veggie sub options, healthy seems to be the trend in fast food and that makes us very happy. But as always, you need to be careful what you order because these places all offer just as many high-calorie diasaters as they do healthy options.

Stay tuned for our 2009 version of 20 Healthier Alternatives to the Worst Food in America.
