It’s that time of year again and everyone from the local news to Oprah is talking about weight loss. The New Year’s resolutions have been made, but we all know that most weight loss resolutions tend to be overly ambitious (if not impossible). When people realize they can’t lose 10 pounds a week, they become discouraged and often turn to fads or pills. For this reason we want to share an alert from the FDA warning dieters about a group of diet pills that may contain potentially harmful ingredients.
Instead of turning to pills or fads this year, why not try what really works! Cut down on portion sizes, exercise regularly and plan ahead to set yourself up for success. Be patient and consistent. Drop the diet mentality. Make small changes over time that will add up to big results in the end…a happier, healthier (and thinner) you! And hopefully this time next year you won’t be making the same resolution to lose weight again!
