Who says you can’t enjoy stuffing all year round? Give this easy and delicious chicken recipe a try on the grill tonight…it’s perfect for the whole family!
4 each Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Glaze 1 cup Grade A Dark Amber maple syrup (preferably Canadian) 1/2 cup Brown sugar
Stuffing ½ cup Green onions, chopped 1 Tbsp Butter 2 cups Dry stuffing mix 2 each Red delicious apples, unpeeled, finely diced 2 cups Apple cider
Mix maple syrup and brown sugar in medium container, set ¼ cup of mixture aside. Trim all visible fat from chicken breasts. Add chicken to maple syrup mixture, cover and marinate in refrigerator for 1 hour. When chicken is done marinating, turn gill on medium high and grill chicken until done (approximately 8-10 minutes). Baste with reserve marinade prior to serving.
To make the stuffing:
Melt butter in saucepan over medium heat. Add green onions and diced apples and sauté for 1-2 minutes. Add stuffing, pour in apple cider and stir well. Cover and simmer over low heat (approximately 20 minutes) until all liquid is absorbed. Fluff with fork before serving.
When ready to serve, flatten stuffing on plate and place chicken on top. Serve with grilled asparagus spears.
